About Holly Loihle

I rescued my first dog Toby in 2001. If truth be told, it was Toby who rescued me.  He was a 1 year old mix.  I am not sure what Toby endured in the time until he came home with me, but I will say he was meant to be mine, which is how I came up with his name Toby!!!! I was blessed to have 15 years of life lessons and adventures with my one and only 1st love!!! I believe there should be meaning behind everything in our lives. The name Salty Paws came from Toby. I could not keep him out of the water. He loved to swim! At the time, I was living up north and would drive an hour to the shore so Toby could swim. So when I would smother my boy in kisses he would taste salty!!! Hence the name Salty Paws. When I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy, my house was so quiet. A month later I rescued my sweet boy Samson. His name was given because at that time in our lives we needed to give each other strength. A year later I rescued my precious Trooper, who had big clunky paws trooping behind his big brother Sam!! And I never anticipated on rescuing a third, but Brando found me and walked into our lives as though he belonged and yes he did!! We all have a purpose, and my purpose and passion is to care for dogs, which brought me to step out in Faith a couple of years ago. I saw a need for animals to remain in their own environment while receiving personalized care rather than being boarded. It was the greatest leap of faith that has brought me pure joy. I love what I do 

and all the beautiful reasons why. For me, It's all about the Dog!!
